Concept of electric control centres

Standard features of all SHEVS control centres:

  • 24V- output for actuators (direction of motion is changed by reversing polarity)
  • Signal line for automatic fire detectors
  • Signal line for fire alarm button (non-automatic fire detectors)
  • Emergency power supply for at least 72 hours, automatically recharged
  • Monitoring of signal lines for wire breakage and short-circuit
  • Monitoring of accumulator, mains and fuse failure
  • Monitoring the bus line of actuators for wire breakage
  • Internal indication of status Operation / Alarm / Malfunction
  • Fire alarm button with indication status Operation / Alarm / Malfunction and Reset button connectable
  • Possibility of connecting a Fire Alarm Control Panel (BMZ) for triggering of alarm
  • Possibility of connecting a Wind and Rain Control System (WRS)
  • Reverse-connect and deep-discharging protection of the accumulators
  • Cycle repetition for reliable opening in the case of SHE action
  • Selectable function: closes automatically when alarm has been reset (auto closing)
  • Selectable function: malfunction of a signal line will trigger alarm (Malfunction = Alarm)
  • Adjustable maximum ventilation position (stroke limitation) 
  • Manual ventilation in “Start-Stop” mode (buttons are pressed briefly only, need not to be held) or in “dead man’s mode” (longer buttonpress, after releasing the actuators stop)
  • Accumulators with VdS approval

Smoke and Heat Exhaust Ventilation System (SHEVS) Control Centre for connection of 24 V- actuators

  • One Smoke and Heat Exhaust group, 2 signal lines
  • max. 4 A output current
  • VdS approval according to VdS 2581 and VdS 2593
  • Internal power supply designed and certified to DIN EN 12101-10
  • Control unit designed and tested to prEN 12101-9

Types:

RWZ 1-4b, max. 4 A output current

 

Options / accessories:

Option PK (RWZ 1, 2, 4, 5, RWD): One potential-free contact (PFC) each for alarm / malfunction

Option WRM (RWZ 1, 4d, 5, RWD): Internal Wind- and Rain Control

RWZ 4d

Smoke and Heat Exhaust Ventilation System (SHEVS) Control Centre for connection of 24V- actuators

  • One Smoke and Heat Exhaust group (SHE group), 3 signal lines
  • max. 8A output current
  • VdS approval according to VdS 2581 and VdS 2593
  • Internal power supply designed and certified to DIN EN 12101-10
  • Control unit designed and tested to prEN 12101-9

RWZ 5e

  • Selectable group configuration: one or two SHE groups, up to four ventilation groups
  • max. 32 A output current
  • VdS approval to VdS 2581 and VdS 2593
  • Internal power supply designed and certified to DIN EN 12101-10
  • Control unit designed and tested to prEN 12101-9

Types:

RWZ 5-8e max. 8 A output current

RWZ 5-16e: max. 16 A output current

RWZ 5-24e: max. 24 A output current

RWZ 5-32e: max. 32 A output current

Options

PK (RWZ 1, 2, 4, 5, RWD): One potential-free contact (PK) each for alarm / malfunction forwarding

PK-SA: Potential-free contacts for forwarding indication of position
